He also points out that Notebook software can work with ANY interactive white board (IWB)- the computer doesn't know the difference, but SMART doesn't want you to know that because they would rather sell you their entire system!

One of the things I learned about SMART boards is that there is a record feature. This allows the teacher to prerecord the lesson and then place a small group at the IWB to work independently as a center. I wonder if there is something like that on Polyvision eno?
Always have a hard copy for students to interact at their seats with while they wait for their turn to come to the board. Students can color their hard copy while one student colors on the IWB. This can be used with learning the placement of QWERTY keys on a keyboard.
